Only tickets purchased before the Special Bonus Deadline of Midnight, August 26, 2008 are eligible for the Special Bonus draw for tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld live in Halifax plus 4 days in New York City and $3,000 cash. Bonus Draw date is September 3, 2008.
* Only tickets purchased before the Early Bird deadline of midnight October 23, 2008 are eligible for the Early Bird draw. In the event that all tickets are sold by the Early Bird deadline, then all draws would begin on October 31, 2008 at 9:00 am. The first draw would be for the Early Bird prize. This would be followed by draws for all remaining prizes in order of retail value beginning with the prizes of least retail value. The top two valued prize draws would be made at 1:00 pm, November 4, 2008 from the Grand Prize Showhome and will air on CTV’s Live at 5. The Grand Prize Showhome is located at 94 Saddleback Road, Voyageur Lakes.
** In the event that tickets remain after the Early Bird deadline, then only the Early Bird draw would be made at 1:00 pm, November 4, 2008 from the Grand Prize Showhome and will air on CTV’s Live at 5. Final ticket sales deadline is midnight, November 6, 2008. All remaining draws would begin on November 17, 2008 at 9:00 am. Draws would proceed in order of retail value beginning with the prizes of least retail value. The top two valued prize draws would be made at 1:00 pm, November 20, 2008 from the Grand Prize Showhome and will air on CTV’s Live at 5. After each draw, the winner is recorded and the ticket then goes back in the drum for the next draw. Tickets purchased after the Special Bonus deadline will be eligible for each of the remaining 4,174 draws. Tickets purchased after the Early Bird deadline will be eligible for each of the remaining 4,173 draws.
All draws, with the exception of those made on television, will be made at Deloitte & Touche LLP, Purdy’s Wharf, Tower II, 1969 Upper Water St., Suite 1500, Halifax NS B3J 3R7.
All winners will be notified in writing by the professional services firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP as to what they have won and where to claim their prizes. Prize notification letters are addressed to the primary ticket holder only and mailed to the address provided by the ticket purchaser. In the event that a winning ticket is held in more than one name, it is the liberty of the primary ticket holder to share winning information with those parties. It shall be the responsibility of a winner to license and insure vehicles from the time of their ownership.
A complete list of winners will be published in The Chronicle Herald and online at www.QE2HomeLottery.com. If all tickets are sold by the Early Bird deadline, the list of winners will be published November 12, 2008. If tickets remain after the Early Bird deadline, the list of winners will be published November 26, 2008.
As per the Nova Scotia Alcohol and Gaming Authority rules, all winners have 90 days to claim their prizes. After such time, a second draw must be made for any prizes unclaimed 90 days following the original draw date.
All winners consent to the use of their name and photograph by the licensee for publication purposes.
All prize winnings are not taxable; ticket purchases are not tax deductible.
Total retail value of all prizes is approximately $2,754,472.13. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated. Prizes must be accepted as awarded with no cash equivalencies available. Purchasers must be at least 19 years of age. Intended for Nova Scotia residents.
The following people and their immediate families are excluded from purchasing tickets: The QEII Foundation Board members, honorary trustees, foundation staff and Deloitte & Touche LLP employees.
All ticket purchases are final and returns are not available. Arrangements may be made with the prize supplier to have a prize delivered to the winner at the prize winner’s expense.
